There is no other artist – British or otherwise – who sounds, sings, plays, writes or looks like Tom Prior. The 22 year-old is a self-made musician who has steadily built up a faithful fanbase thanks to his powerful live performances, distinctively compelling vocal and innate ability to deliver gripping stories teamed with potent hooks.
He has been through many musical mutations; rapper, band leader, singer, writer, pianist; it’s taken Tom time to figure out the type of act he wanted – and more crucially – didn’t want to be. As influenced by Indie as he is Hip Hop, Prior manages to blend the two worlds with effortless authenticity and credibility.
